Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Lead and supervise production employees, manage scheduling, and conduct training sessions on job functions, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety protocols, and company policies. Monitor equipment settings and operations to ensure adherence to standards, while controlling process standards across mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding. Coordinate material supply, oversee process control and quality assurance documentation, and generate regular reports on productivity, downtime, and quality. Continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste, while maintaining regular communication with department heads regarding performance, equipment, and safety issues. Address employee issues promptly and administer disciplinary actions as necessary to maintain a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment. Work on feet for the entire shift in high ambient temperatures, with weekend work required when scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to work on feet for entire shift
- Weekend work required when scheduled
- Ability to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Ability to work in high ambient temperatures
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing management or related field preferred
