Job Summary
Direct Production Group Leaders and Team Leaders to meet production schedules and delivery dates; ensure 5S, lean manufacturing, Kaizen; manage materials via Kanban and scheduling; maintain records and prepare appropriate production records; hire/release recommendations to maintain schedules; uphold safety, quality, and ISO/IATF compliance; maintain a safe work environment; coach and develop associates; support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives; oversee utilization of equipment and facilities for efficient production; lead efforts to reduce waste and improve productivity through CA-PDCA cycles; ensure adherence to SRK-OH policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree, or equivalent training and/or experience
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, one of which included leadership activities
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing
- Knowledge of material handling principles and equipment; parts manufacturing equipment and processes; automated and manual assembly processes; time and motion studies; tooling, jig and fixture design; engineering mechanics, drafting, heat transfer, electrics and electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics; control system principles and equipment, and statistical process control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
