Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Lead hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production, and shipping to ensure finished products move seamlessly through the warehouse. Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and maintain compliance with HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, and ISO standards. Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and output goals while optimizing labor, materials, and equipment usage. Mentor team members, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain departments. Maintain accurate production records and provide regular updates to management on status and challenges.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development
- In depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (i.e. ISO, OSHA, etc.)
- Awareness and willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be available to work 2nd shift hours
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Poultry or Protein production experience
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications
