Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing by providing leadership, coaching, and accountability to production employees. Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet production targets while conducting root cause analysis and completing HACCP, allergen, and safety reports. Direct oversight of operators on a line or shift, diagnose and resolve product, process, and equipment issues to minimize downtime, and analyze performance data to recommend corrective actions. Develop work schedules, training programs, and staffing plans, partnering with Maintenance, Quality, HR, and other departments to resolve production issues. Maintain accurate reports, logs, and metrics for production, safety, and attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production reporting systems (ERP/ADP or similar).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related production environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards.
