Production Supervisor – 1st Shift

Job Summary
Production Supervisor oversees day-to-day plant operations on the 1st shift, ensuring production schedules are followed, raw material flow is maintained, and yields and pounds per hour targets are met. Responsibilities include managing daily GMB building, freezer and dry storage, HPP/SIS and brine tunnel operations; maintaining manufacturing protocols, product specifications, quality guidelines, and safety standards; coordinating with the Operations Manager on staffing to meet production demand; ensuring timely, accurate completion of daily paperwork; monitoring variances in production operations; developing talent; and promoting continuous improvement. Key skills include project management, basic accounting familiarity, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, knowledge of process controls and equipment, food safety and OSHA regulations, and strong team-building and communicative abilities. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, perform repetitive movements, and work some holidays/weekends as needed. Location is Lincoln, Nebraska, with on-site work (no explicit remote option). The company emphasizes values of integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing leadership
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Travel may be required for corporate training and/or events
