Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of production employees to consistently deliver high-quality meat products in a safe, sanitary, and efficient environment. Ensure daily production targets are met by effectively managing people, equipment, and processes while maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising 21-25 employees, planning and allocating daily resources, documenting production activities, coordinating with maintenance to maximize equipment uptime, applying root-cause analysis for issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance. Requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting. Preferred BA/BS in related fields and relevant food-manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred
- BA/BS preferred
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Good manufacturing practices, HACCP, lean manufacturing knowledge
