Production Supervisor - 12 Hour Shifts, Days

Job Summary
Second-line supervisor in manufacturing responsible for assigning and coordinating work in a production department. Supervises hourly employees, prepares daily time sheets and reports, plans work assignments to maximize utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities, works with Engineering, Material Control, Quality Control, and Human Resources to communicate schedule needs and changes, ensures compliance with plant rules and safety standards, and drives Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Requires High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred), 3-5 years of relevant experience with prior production leadership in Lean environments (6+ years leadership preferred), and relevant certifications preferred. Located in Shelton, CT (US) on 12-hour day shifts; on-site role with a focus on safety, quality, and efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (required)
- Prior production leadership experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment (required)
- 6+ years of leadership experience preferred
- Relevant certification(s) preferred
- Knowledge and use of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Proficiency in related systems and software
