Production Supervisor - 12 Hour Shift

Job Summary
supervise production operations on day and night shifts for Plastipak bottles/containers, ensuring safe, efficient performance across the production floor; coordinate work assignments and provide coaching/guidance to Technicians; report on production performance to the production manager and drive improvements in safety, quality, reliability, and scrap reduction; collaborate with Maintenance to resolve machinery and quality problems; leverage SAP ERP and Excel to track information and generate reports; maintain strong safety culture and effective communication across the team; participate in 3-2-2 shift rotations and ensure adherence to customer specifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with strong preference for post-secondary education
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience with solid people leadership abilities
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing production or maintenance experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Experience using an ERP system, preferably SAP
- Proficiency with Excel for recording information and generating reports
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools
