Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process including safety, planning, production, and personnel management. Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and ensure a safe work environment while meeting regulatory compliance. Work closely with suppliers to recommend equipment for efficient operations and coordinate engineering projects. Develop and mentor facility supervisors, maintain employee relations, and prepare budget compliance reviews.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function
- Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good analytical and communication skills
- Solid understanding of manufacturing practices and equipment
- Ability to work well with people at all levels and facilitate change and growth in a team environment
- Management level knowledge of accounting, purchasing, engineering and employee relations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, or technical degree in related field (Engineering, Forestry, Wood Science)
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing/wood products/management
