Job Summary
Monitor and facilitate production team activities while assisting leads in resolving problems and delegating tasks. Instruct, train, and coach other assemblers on procedures, and enforce all safety and processing procedures. Perform a series of operations using tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to correctly assemble and test medical devices. Report quality, process, equipment, and material problems to the Project Engineer or Lead. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in the assembly line as needed. Requires high school diploma, two years of medical device experience, and ability to use a microscope for small assembly work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related medical device experience
Desired Qualifications
- Medical device and Cleanroom manufacturing experience
- Leadership or Back up leadership experience
- Ability to do small assembly work using a microscope
- Knowledge of basic measuring techniques including scales, rulers, US and metric measurement
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
