Job Summary
Conduct pre-show production meetings, safety briefings, and readiness checks for all theatrical performances of The Polar Express™ Train Ride. Lead cast rehearsals, supervise performers and Assistant Stage Managers, and coordinate show timing with Train Operations to ensure seamless departures. Manage inventory of props, costumes, and set pieces; inspect, organize, and maintain all production materials before and after each operating day. Complete daily production reports, communicate operational updates to leadership, and provide coaching to maintain consistent scene quality and guest experience. Adapt quickly to delays, weather conditions, or staffing changes while fostering a collaborative environment. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays in Durango, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended seasonal hours
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in stage management, theatrical production, live entertainment, event management, or a related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising teams in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong coaching and leadership abilities with a commitment to developing performers and maintaining high production standards
- Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and decisive under pressure
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in rapidly changing situations
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
