Job Summary
Conduct venue sound system setup, operation, and maintenance for live events, serving as the secondary liaison between vendors, artists, and property management. Transport event materials and supplies efficiently to and from the venue while fulfilling production requests and managing artist riders. Coordinate artist hospitality by preparing meals, maintaining dressing room cleanliness, stocking amenities, and running errands to ensure all artist needs are met. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of related work experience
- Ability to operate sound systems and plan for live production events
- Working knowledge of stand tools and equipment of the trade
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Professional Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Able to work various hours: nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- 2 years of related work experience
- Must be able to take direction and execute instruction accurately
- Must have valid driver's license if venue location requires driving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Existing relationships with agents, managers and touring personnel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting requests
- Strong time management skills with the exceptional attention to detail
- Strong intrapersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly personality
