Job Summary
Produce doughnuts and related products by preparing dough, glazing, filling, and icing ingredients while adhering to approved recipes and quality standards. Safely operate production equipment including proofers, fryers, glazers, and mixers, performing basic troubleshooting and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations by practicing "clean as you go," completing production logs, and maintaining proper product rotation. Support shop operations through inventory organization, supply replenishment, and collaborative teamwork across all shifts. Work in a fast-paced environment with variable schedules including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and identify numbers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow safety procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Standing and walking for extended periods during the work shift
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 0–10 lbs: Frequent
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 11–25 lbs: Frequent
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 26–50 lbs: Frequent
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 51–75 lbs: Occasional with assistance
- Frequent lifting of ingredient bags, dough containers, racks, trays, and production supplies
- Pushing and pulling approximately 10–40 lbs of force occasionally
- Frequent use of hands for mixing, glazing, processing, packaging, cleaning, and equipment operation
- Ability to follow detailed recipes, formulas, and production procedures
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and product quality standards
- Ability to manage multiple production tasks simultaneously
- Ability to identify and correct quality issues
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to adapt to changing production needs and priorities
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
