Job Summary
Production Specialist (Temp Role) at Topcon Manufacturing in Fort Atkinson, WI. Responsible for planning work from product fulfillment orders and blueprints, preparing inventory, and crafting products using diverse production equipment. Ensures parts are secured and that products meet tight tolerances and high quality standards through thorough evaluation of materials and workmanship. Emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to first-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30am-2pm) with potential conversion to full-time. Requires basic soldering experience (training provided), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and capability to operate in a manufacturing environment with attention to detail and quality control.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Prefer prior work experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment, but not required
- Prior soldering experience is preferred, but we will train
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently while working effectively in a team environment
- Ability to complete a wide range of tasks with little supervision
- Must able to lift up to 50lbs
- Wear steel toe shoes/boots meeting OSHA standard ASTM F2413-18
- Willing to work overtime, as required
- Join or secure parts using crimps, screws, solders, and hand tools
- Plan work by reading product fulfillment orders and blueprints with attention to detail
- Craft products using a variety of production equipment
