Job Summary
Maintain lift trucks and yard trucks, including daily OSHA inspections and safe charging/refueling. Operate proper aisles and assist with cycle counts while keeping the warehouse clean. Run the palletizer and perform quality product checks. Follow verbal and written directions and read shipping orders, bills of lading, and invoices. Start Sunday evening at 11:00 PM on a rotating shift schedule with overtime available. Join a multi-cultural team at Silgan's state-of-the-art metal food packaging facility in Kenosha.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to earn and maintain Lift Truck Operators license
- Must operate all equipment making safety and quality a priority
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Must be able to read and understand Shipping Orders, Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, Invoices, etc
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 2nd shift
- Must be available for 3rd shift
- Must be available for Continuous Shift
- Must be able to work Sunday evening
- Must be able to work Friday morning
- Must be able to work 3:00PM – 11:30PM
- Must be able to work 11:00PM - 7:30AM
- Must be able to work 6PM to 6AM
- Must be able to work 4 days on and 4 days off
- Must be able to work 40 percent of plant management were promoted from within
- Must be able to work in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
- Must be able to work with a multi-cultural and diverse team
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
- Must be able to work in compliance with Federal and State Laws
- Must be able to perform other job-related duties requested by their supervisor
