Job Summary
Read engineered drawings and set up, recalibrate, and operate production equipment to cut, shape, and prepare high-precision tile materials. Measure, mark, and cut materials with precision using saws and precision measuring tools while ensuring proper material handling and finished product quality. Maintain clean work areas, perform routine equipment checks, and keep track of supply inventory. Assist other team members and support continuous improvement activities to enhance process efficiency. Requires ability to stand 8 hours, lift 60 lbs, and wear required PPE. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent mechanical background
- Proficient at the use of templates
- Ability to operate multiple types of hand tools and precision measuring tools
- Demonstrated ability to use a tile cutting saw
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
