Production Specialist

Job Summary
Assemble products to company, customer, and manufacturer standards while performing all required product testing. Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post items in the online system, and pick products for delivery or shipping. Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and picking lifts to deliver products as required. Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and assist with physical inventory. Make recommendations to management regarding product and process improvements. Perform other duties as trained and qualified. This full-time, non-exempt role in Moss Point, MS requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and 3-5 years of related warehousing or production experience. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
- 3 - 5 years of related warehousing or production experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to work overtime, as required
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Must have good communication skills
- Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure
- Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, inventory sheets, and procedure manuals
- Ability to count, measure, and record data accurately
- Ability to respond to safety signals, alarms, and verbal instructions
- Ability to inspect products and materials to detect imperfections, defects, or irregularities and ensure quality and compliance
- Ability to properly and safely use mechanical equipment and tools, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery
- Ability to enter and exit a service vehicle and other mechanical equipment multiple times per day
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, or hard hats, depending on task or site conditions
- Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis
- Ability to move freely throughout the job site, including on occasional uneven surfaces, for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at varying work-surface levels and machine operation heights
- Ability to move above or below workstations or retrieve items from various heights
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders or stairs, as required
