Job Summary
Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies while assembling products to company, customer, and manufacturer standards. Perform all product testing, receive incoming shipments into inventory, and post items in the online system. Pick products from the warehouse, prepare them for delivery, and deliver products as required. Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and picking lifts while assisting with physical inventory and recommending process improvements. Work on-site at a customer facility in El Segundo, CA, with a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
- 3 - 5 years of related warehousing or production experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to work overtime, as required
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, inventory sheets, and procedure manuals
- Ability to count, measure, and record data accurately
- Ability to properly and safely use mechanical equipment and tools, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (training and certification may be required)
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, or hard hats, depending on task or site conditions
- Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis
- Ability to move freely throughout the job site, including on occasional uneven surfaces, for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at varying work-surface levels and machine operation heights
- Ability to move above or below workstations or retrieve items from various heights
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders or stairs, as required
- Must have good communication skills
- Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure
- Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
