Job Summary
Conduct pharmaceutical finishing operations by supporting setup, changeover, and packaging while adhering to safety and quality procedures. Operate automated and semi-automated equipment to produce finished products, perform line clearances, and execute housekeeping cleans. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, pull samples for quality checks, and drive improvement opportunities through cross-functional teams. Maintain 6S standards across the production floor and escalate technical or operating issues to engineering and mechanical groups. Requires standing up to 12 hours daily, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working 40 to 60 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to communicate issues to appropriate engineering and mechanical team
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs and applications
- Requires standing up to 8-12hs per day
- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Work 40 to 48 hours per week
- Ability to work as many as 60 hours depending on manufacturing demands
Desired Qualifications
- Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude
- Technical certificate or degree
- Understanding and experience with systems such as POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO
- Knowledge of related cGMP requirements and procedures
