Job Summary
Production Specialist role at Stanlow Refinery focused on maintaining the integrity of production work processes across asset areas (ESP, RCM, MOC) while developing technically accurate training content and coaching operators to enhance troubleshooting and performance. Responsibilities include ensuring production procedures remain current, driving continuous improvement, supporting cost management, coordinating with Operations Delivery Manager and Maintenance, contributing to change management (MOC/turnarounds), reviewing PEFs/ISOs/MOCs for operability, supporting pre-commissioning and handovers, contributing to reliability studies (RCM/RBI), promoting HSSE excellence, leading alarm management and representing operations in safety forums, and enabling digitalisation and cross-functional delivery. Requires degree-level education or equivalent, refinery/petrochemical experience, knowledge of COMAH, and strong problem resolution and training skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent (degree, HNC or equivalent)
- Proven experience in refinery or petrochemical manufacturing operations
- Strong problem resolution capabilities
- Experience with alarm management systems
- Understanding of MOC, RCM, ISO standards and HSSE requirements
- Ability to develop and coach operators, and to produce technically accurate training content
- Experience leading or participating in change management processes (MOC, turnarounds)
- Knowledge of COMAH site requirements and permit-to-work processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills, cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work in a site-based refinery environment and hold required site authorisations
