Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate production personnel to ensure efficient workflow, safety, and adherence to schedules. Monitor output and quality while troubleshooting equipment issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance as needed. Train new employees, coach team members, and lead daily shift meetings to communicate goals and report key metrics. Track attendance, approve timecards, and maintain accurate documentation for logs and reports. Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency. Requires 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience; full-time role with competitive compensation. Colt Manufacturing seeks a leader to maintain our industry-standard production floor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a diverse team
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, ERP systems)
