Job Summary
Produce Buff City Soap products including soaps, detergents, bath bombs, lotions, and body butters by following established recipes and production processes. Operate production equipment safely, conduct quality checks throughout the process, and accurately document batch information and ingredient usage. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist with inventory movement and material replenishment to support efficient production flow. Partner with Production, Fulfillment, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure products meet customer demand while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and team performance.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in production, manufacturing, food handling, cosmetics, or similar hands-on work
- Ability to follow precise recipes and repeat processes consistently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness during production
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with seasonal volume fluctuations
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Extended or flexible hours may be required during peak periods (holidays, promotions)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in handmade bath & body production or natural product manufacturing
- Familiarity with batching logs, scale operation, and small-batch production equipment
- Understanding of weight-based measurement, curing/drying processes, and ingredient safety
