Job Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of employees on the plant floor or in the warehouse to meet production schedules and quality goals. Reviews shift plans, assigns tasks based on methods and equipment, ensures housekeeping and preventive maintenance, and maintains safety and training programs. Drives waste reduction and efficiency improvements, monitors performance and reporting, and collaborates across functions to achieve safety, production, and quality targets. Requires leadership, strong communication, analytical/problem-solving abilities, and the ability to train and develop team members; familiarity with Macola and Wysis systems, and knowledge of food safety and quality standards (including BRC) is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment is required
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
- Must be trained on food safety, procedure compliance, quality standards, BRC policies & procedures, basic first aid
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, train, and develop team
- Proven ability to monitor performance, meet deadlines, and drive continuous improvement
