Production Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead a team of 10-15 individuals on a 12-hour rotating shift (4 days on, 4 days off) to execute production plans per quality standards and minimize downtime through TPM and continuous improvement. Ensure the location complies with all internal and external standards while driving product cost improvements, first pass yield, and safe working conditions. Follow quality control guidelines to guarantee raw materials and finished goods meet specifications, partnering with internal plant and external stakeholders to proactively avoid quality and service issues. Provide formal reports on plant performance and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- 4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing operation leadership
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
- Experience in production supervision
- Experience in quality control in a chemical manufacturing environment
- TPM (operational excellence) experience
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Suite (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with SAP
- Reside within a commutable distance of the Philadelphia plant
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
