Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of safety, quality, and production in the plant for an assigned shift, leading, directing, and executing on production, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping. Manage self and others assertively while ensuring full compliance with food safety and quality programs, conducting daily area inspections, and coordinating production schedules. Drive a Safety Perfect Culture by maintaining accurate safety records, assessing work performance, and identifying root causes to implement continuous improvement solutions. Lead attainment of Key Performance Indicators, communicate progress to management and workforce, and coordinate training for associates. This role supports the company's rapid growth in processing shelf-stable dairy, coffee beverages, and creamers, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent 5 years of experience in food and manufacturing environments
- Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Team Player with demonstrated team leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- Overall knowledge of plant operations
- Metrics-driven with a ability to successfully operate autonomously
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing preferred
