Job Summary
Directly supervise warehouse and production staff in a Site, managing daily schedules for shipping, receiving, loading, stacking, picking, and palletizing. Monitor work flow, control load factors, and adjust shifts to meet unforeseen conditions while ensuring maximum capacity utilization. Lead implementation of operations improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, and productivity; conduct frequent business audits to verify standard operating procedures and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze inventory reports to identify slow-moving stock and prepare distribution schedules to meet customer requirements. Model corporate values, lead safety meetings and huddles, and represent the team in cross-functional problem-solving efforts. Requires a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or operations management, with 3-5 years of experience in production or warehouse supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse supervision, managing teams and daily operations
- Special job experience in Heat Transfer Label
- Experience implementing strategies to improve safety, quality, cost-efficiency, and productivity in manufacturing or warehouse settings
- Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies, manage operational issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards, experience leading safety initiatives, and ability to create a safety-conscious work culture
- Excellent communication skills to represent team concerns, present recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with performance management systems, timekeeping, and scheduling staff to meet production goals
- Ability to model and uphold corporate values and business ethics, acting as a change-agent and positive role model for the team
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or related methodologies
