Production Shift Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Bilingual

Job Summary
Lead and direct up to 80 people per shift, managing rotations, training, and breaks to ensure safe work and quality specifications are met. Train line employees on food safety, human safety, and quality standards while overseeing equipment operation, production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Coordinate overtime approval, report and track waste to drive efficiencies, and maintain daily production records and logs. Inspect and sign off on production labels, ensure strict adherence to GMP policies and dress codes, and partner with the Production Manager for shift meetings. Work the 2nd shift (3pm–3am) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring HACCP certification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience
- Good understanding of Quality Systems
- familiarity with SQF
- familiarity with HACCP
- familiarity with GMP
- Able to stay focused in a loud working environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Must understand basic mathematical concepts
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time
- Basic computer skills
- HACCP Certification
- Able to stand for at least ten hours per day
- Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to keep eyes focused on a conveyor belt for a maximum five hours at one time
- Must be able to work in a food allergens environment
- Must be able to sustain environmental changes (heat, cold, dampness, and chemicals) throughout the shift
