Job Summary
The Production Shift Manager will lead union-represented operators on the assigned shift, coordinating with maintenance/electrical groups and plant management to meet safety, quality, and production goals. Responsibilities include communicating the shift plan and production schedule at shift start, supervising staffing and overtime, handling shift documentation (shift notes, quality and food safety docs, maintenance work orders), mentoring and training employees, addressing grievances, monitoring GMP compliance, and driving timely problem resolution. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting, leadership and written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to connect area operations with broader plant objectives. Salary range: $69,000–$115,000 annually plus comprehensive benefits. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliance is noted as part of the hiring process.
