Job Summary
Production Shift Leader in Lansing Delta Township responsible for leading and developing salary and hourly workforce across Body, Paint, or General Assembly. Lead teams to maintain safety, productivity, quality, and throughput; drive improvements through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving; mentor salaried and hourly staff; coordinate across departments to meet objectives including cost and schedule demands; ensure adherence to safety systems and policies; apply CI concepts and GMS/BIQ IV practices where applicable. On-site role with relocation benefits potential; GM sponsorship not provided for immigration-related needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an Automotive Assembly Plant (OEM preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead problem solving activities and leverage analytical abilities
- Leadership/Management Experience (UAW, Salaried, Skilled Trades or similar)
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (CIP)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
- Must be able to work any shift
