Production Shift Lead - Pallet Repair

Job Summary
Train and supervise team members on shift while identifying maintenance issues, ordering repairs, and offering technical guidance. Inspect equipment and products for quality purposes, ensuring standards are met, and document all repair activities to maintain accurate records. Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets while maintaining a clean and organized sorting area. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team. Requires strong leadership skills, experience with operating machinery, and familiarity with safety procedures. Shifts run Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm and 3:30pm to 12:00am at a starting rate of $20/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with operating machinery
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Familiarity with the use of PPE in an industrial setting
- Computation of basic math skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Able to stand for long periods while completing repair tasks and transporting pallets
- Regular use of power tools including repetitive operation of nail guns, hammers and saws
- Strong visual attention to identify pallet defects and perform precise repair work
- Must have steel-toed footwear in good repair
- Availability for Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm and 3:30pm - 12:00am shifts
