Job Summary
Production Set Up Coordinator Lead ensures production lines are prepared on schedule, guides Setup Coordinators across shifts, and maintains accurate, compliant documentation to support efficient, safe operations. Responsibilities include supervising coordinators, coordinating production setup and readiness (including reviewing First Articles and verifying job readiness), managing tools, materials, and BOMs, maintaining inventory accuracy, collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, Engineering, Scheduling, and Supply Chain, ensuring GMP compliance, and promoting a safe work environment. The role requires strong leadership and communication to drive timely setups, transfer information between shifts, and support continuous improvement initiatives across lean processes and documented workflows. Occasional extended hours and weekend support are required; forklift certification and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred
- Knowledge of Lean practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
