Job Summary
Disassemble, repair, and maintain industrial production and processing machinery, including installing, dismantling, and moving heavy equipment per plans. Diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters and test devices, then reassemble equipment after inspections. Clean, lubricate, adjust parts, cut and weld metal, and program computer-controlled machinery. Record repairs, analyze error messages, and order parts as needed. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and ensure department objectives align with corporate goals. Comply with EPA and OSHA regulations for waste disposal and safety.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- 5 years or more of experience in mechanical environment
