Production Scientist I

Conduct large-scale E.coli enzyme, protozoan, and plasmid production within the Microbiology department. Generate and purify recombinant proteins, support scale-up activities, and perform mastermix production and PCR testing. Execute DNA extraction, prepare and aliquot products per approved procedures, and perform quality control assays with accurate reporting. Maintain inventory records, manage laboratory databases, and process incoming shipments. Receive comprehensive training to broaden laboratory skills across cell culture and genotyping.
