Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed shop floor schedules that translate production plans into sequenced, time-phased tasks for manufacturing operations. Lead the site scheduling team to ensure efficient order flow, minimize downtime, and support on-time delivery by aligning schedules with material availability, labor resources, and capacity constraints. Manage the Master Production Schedule, focusing on short-term execution, resource balancing, and real-time adjustments to meet operational goals. Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders, monitor adherence, and adjust plans in response to demand fluctuations. Lead a team of schedulers, providing performance feedback and fostering collaboration while leveraging ERP and APS systems to track key performance indicators and drive continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- 4–8 years of experience in production scheduling, shop floor coordination, or master production schedule maintenance
- Experience in OEM, discrete manufacturing, or configure-to-order environments
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
