Job Summary
Maintain the Master Production Schedule and slot orders to translate production plans into sequenced, time-phased tasks for manufacturing operations. Lead a team of schedulers to ensure detailed shop floor schedules align with material availability, labor resources, and capacity constraints while minimizing downtime. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to adjust schedules for demand fluctuations and support on-time delivery. Track key performance indicators using ERP and APS systems to drive improvements in scheduling logic, sequencing, and lead times. Monitor schedule adherence and generate reports to communicate performance trends. Works a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with 0–10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- 4–8 years of experience in production scheduling, shop floor coordination, or master production schedule maintenance
- Experience in OEM, discrete manufacturing, or configure-to-order environments
- 0-10% travel
- Typical work hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
- Sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role
- Valid driver's license (implied by travel requirement and industry standard for scheduling roles)
- Background check clearance
- Drug test clearance
