Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and update short- and long-term production schedules using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel to maximize labor, equipment, and material utilization. Prioritize and sequence work orders based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints while monitoring daily progress and adjusting priorities as requirements change. Confirm resource availability by coordinating with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production Supervisors to identify material shortages, equipment downtime, and staffing limitations before they impact delivery. Conduct daily meetings with Plant Supervisors, Sales, and Warehouse to communicate production status, escalate risks, and implement process improvements that reduce downtime and optimize efficiency.

- ability to track key performance indicators, including schedule adherence, production output, capacity utilization, order backlog, and on-time completion
- ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- ability to prepare reports and communicate scheduling and production performance to management
- ability to identify opportunities to improve production flow, line efficiency, scheduling accuracy, and resource utilization
- ability to recommend improvements that reduce downtime, production delays, excess inventory, and unnecessary changeovers
- ability to work with Operations and other departments to implement process improvements
- ability to seek new approaches, technologies, and processes that improve efficiency
- ability to support continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the Growth & Recognition of both employees and the organization
