Job Summary
As a Production Scheduler, the role involves preparing batch cards, releasing pick lists, sequencing batches, and optimizing production resources. The scheduler will compare production orders, communicate schedules to personnel, prepare capacity and utilization reports, and manage schedule changes including customer expedites. Regular collaboration with R&D, Quality Control, Process Engineering, and Production departments is expected to review production outcomes and critical changes, ensuring equipment performance optimization and compliance with safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to optimize use of labor, equipment, setups, and materials
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with various departments
- Experience in maintaining production schedules and resolving conflicts
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to chemical equipment and processes
