Production Scheduler

Job Summary
Manufacturing Scheduler to develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules based on demand forecasts, order priorities, and inventory levels. Collaborates with production, materials, and logistics teams to balance capacity and maximize productivity; monitors progress, responds to delays or material shortages, and communicates scheduling changes across departments. Identifies conflicts or inefficiencies and proposes process improvements; maintains ERP/MRP records and generates production reports and metrics for management. Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing, JIT scheduling, Gantt charts, capacity planning tools, and production KPIs. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
