Job Summary
Responsible for executing and ensuring the integrity of the master production schedule by verifying timely completion/receipt of planning, tooling, materials, details and sub-assemblies for one or more cost centers. Releases all assemblies, sub-assemblies and shop orders to the floor; reschedules assembly orders when shortages arise; coordinates with Contracts, Quality, Purchasing to meet commitments; proposes and implements recovery plans for delinquent orders; coordinates shipping and manufacturing plans with the production supervisor; maintains inventory and validates MRP data integrity; monitors production progress and updates plans; assists with demand forecasting; maintains monthly Build Plan; and adheres to safety, quality, and company policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of related experience in production control, scheduling, expediting, and record keeping. Salary target is $75,000 per year; schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (7:00am–3:30pm). EOE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with minimum two years related experience in production control, scheduling, expediting and record keeping
- experience in production scheduling and MRP
- ability to coordinate with Contracts, Quality, Purchasing
- ability to develop recovery plans for delinquent orders
- understanding of build plans and shipping coordination
