Job Summary
Production Scheduler role in Bloomington, IN responsible for developing and optimizing production schedules, coordinating material and resources, and communicating schedules to stakeholders. Responsibilities include creating efficient press schedules from production orders, ensuring materials and graphics are available, publishing daily schedules, coordinating with associates and CDAs, and tracking performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and root causes. Requires strong Excel/PRISM proficiency, analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset to improve scheduling efficiency and plant performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing scheduling or production planning role is preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing scheduling or production planning role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PRISM
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Willingness to pass drug screening and background check
- Ability to wear PPE on the production floor
