Job Summary
Develop and maintain all schedules for critical activities within the GP operation in the West Region, including placement, spike, depletion, hatchery, vaccination, disinfect, shavings, wash, and clean-out schedules. Manage production plans based on sales requirements, machine capacities, materials, and manpower availability while integrating daily operations across multiple departments. Produce and distribute these schedules, perform daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, and oversee bio-security and health & safety responsibilities. Report to the Regional Vice President in Sallisaw, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Poultry processing experience in a supervisory or managerial role in production or planning
- Bachelor's Degree in a suitable field
- Highly numerate data rational, with strong analytical skills
- Excellent English written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- flexibility to changing work schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- At least 5 years' experience in Production Planning environment
- at least 3 years' experience in a ERP system
- At least 3 years experiences in an environment preferably Poultry Plant
- Previous managerial level experience in planning
- High degree of self-organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and operate in an intensive environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Window office
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Solid ERP experience related to demand, supply and production planning and scheduling
- Ability of establish short and long term goals to meet customer needs
