Job Summary
Organize orders and create precise schedules to enhance production flow through panel production centers while coordinating priorities with sales and shipping. Order raw materials to confirm timely arrival and plan capacity to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain communication with production and sales staff to communicate exact order details to the floor and provide daily feedback on order flow. Monitor production progress against the schedule, identify scheduling problems, and resolve them immediately. Develop and maintain surplus lists, communicating availability to sales weekly. Communicate critical production information to shift supervisors and coordinate material flow between mills with other divisional schedulers. Ensure efficient transfer of materials with the shipping department. Improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes to provide quality customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Expert user knowledge and skills on all manufacturing/ERP systems (AX)
- Ability to participate in trainings
- Ability to provide training to others on systems as needed
- Ability to support implementation of system upgrades by working closely with IT
- Ability to organize orders and create precise schedules
