Job Summary
Production Scheduler at United Direct Solutions (in-person) is responsible for managing the master production schedule for print and direct mail operations across two facilities, using Midnight and related systems to forecast capacity, analyze production volumes, and drive job costing and pricing alignment. The role supports capacity planning, workload balance, and on-time delivery, identifies bottlenecks, and collaborates with operations, estimating, and accounting to improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency. It includes developing and maintaining dashboards and reports for leadership, leveraging AI-assisted or data-informed scheduling tools, and staying current with industry trends to optimize production planning across both sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, operations analysis, or related role
- Experience with master scheduling, capacity planning, and job costing
- Proficiency with operational systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Midnight, Excel, BI platforms)
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel between facilities as needed
- Knowledge of print and direct mail production processes preferred
- Experience with AI and advanced analytics tools to optimize scheduling (preferred)
