Job Summary
Production Scheduler responsible for developing and releasing daily production schedules for a meat-processing plant, aligning production with customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity; solving scheduling challenges in real-time; using SAP & Excel to track performance, monitor trends, and drive improvements; collaborating across Operations, Sales, Warehousing, and Customer Service to ensure execution; ownership of scheduling to drive efficiency; emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills—you can pivot when plans don’t go as expected.
- Ability to navigate SAP (or similar ERP systems) & Excel.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills—you’ll work across multiple departments.
- High sense of urgency & adaptability—this is a high-impact, high-visibility role.
