Job Summary
Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on the approved Production Plan, releasing, prioritizing, and sequencing orders to meet customer delivery requirements. Monitor schedule adherence, identify capacity constraints and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions while communicating priority changes and potential delays to stakeholders. Identify material shortages, coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Warehouse teams to resolve constraints, and support expediting activities. Maintain accurate work order status and production transactions within the ERP system, generate performance metrics, and resolve data discrepancies. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service teams to support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- ERP system experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- make-to-order or discrete manufacturing experience
- Syteline experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
