Job Summary
Schedule work to run on manufacturing equipment for Prepress, Press, or Bindery/Finishing; review daily/weekly production schedules and adjust to meet customer delivery dates; optimize workflow by matching equipment capabilities to customer work; plan for a mix of routine to moderately complex jobs; ensure preflight files, plating, raw materials, and components are in place; coordinate with departments to ensure jobs run; provide daily/weekly production updates to inform staffing, materials, and forecasted workloads; re-schedule as needed due to unplanned issues (equipment failures, missing components); may engage with Planners or management to resolve issues; may perform long-term planning and build facility work plans; may coordinate with vendors and internal resources to meet scheduled run times; all duties performed within the scope of manufacturing operations; requires very good organizational, communication, and computer skills (MS Office/mac tools) to complete duties; demonstrates ability to follow company policy and manage workflow to deadlines; includes responsibilities across supporting production planning and operations and may involve cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job.
