Job Summary
Production Research Associate responsible for leading and executing field trials and regional/global POC initiatives to improve seed production yield, quality, and reliability. Focus areas include data analytics, cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, and HSE compliance (ISO 45001). Will supervise interns and contract staff, train site capabilities, and travel up to 40% to multiple trial locations in Zambia, with emphasis on design, execution, and reporting of robust, data-driven trial results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in agricultural discipline or Master of Science in related field
- 5+ years experience in field/lab trial design and execution (if BS) or 2+ years (if MS)
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to operate under field-based working conditions
- Experience with data analytics and modern technologies in research
