Production Reliability Engineer / SRE (Hong Kong)

Job Summary
Provide front-line production support across cryptocurrency business lines including client trading, lending, and risk management. Monitor system health and performance, debug complex Java and Python applications, and collaborate with development teams to implement stability enhancements. Coordinate with global counterparts for follow-the-sun coverage, document procedures and runbooks, and communicate directly with clients to address support needs. Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reliability. Requires 4+ years of SRE or production support experience in finance, strong SQL and scripting skills, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, Production Support or DevOps roles
- preferably in finance
- direct exposure to trading system internals
- post-trade processing
- real-time risk engines
- Strong technical skills in SQL
- at least one programming or scripting language
- preferably Java or Python
- Experience with incident response
- root cause analysis
- structured problem-solving in a production environment
- Fluent in English
