Job Summary
Receiving Operator 2 on 3rd Shift responsible for unloading materials from various trailers (open top, reefer, box, tank, etc.), operating skid-steers or forklifts, and cleaning equipment with a pressure washer. The role requires inspecting trailers, completing paperwork, and communicating trailer load information to production to prevent errors. Compliance with safety, environmental, and food/feed regulations is required, along with general housekeeping and maintaining regular attendance. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for extended periods, and be 18 years or older. Spanish translation available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in food/feed production (desirable)
- Forklift Certification (in-house, upon hire)
- Basic math skills and data interpretation
- Effective communication with external truck drivers
- Ability to read labels/warnings/manuals
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Experience with multi-species processing (cow, pig, poultry)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Age 18+ for insurance purposes
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods
