Job Summary
Conduct quality inspections on molded plastic parts using control plans and work instructions, maintaining an organized workspace to separate inspected from uninspected items. Complete required documentation and record inspection results via paper and electronic systems, then count or pack parts for shipping or storage. Communicate production problems with lead personnel or management as needed. Requires high school education, ability to operate inspection equipment like a microscope, and proficiency in basic math and data entry. Shift pattern includes 12 nights with a 3-2-2-3 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school education coursework or GED
- Ability to enter small amounts of data into computer
- Ability to operate copy machine
- Ability to use telephone
- Ability to use microscope or other inspection equipment
- Ability to read, comprehend and utilize instructions and short correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
- Ability to count with accuracy
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Interpersonal skills to deal courteously with co-workers and supervisors
- Normal or corrected to normal vision
- Good color vision
- Close vision
- Ability to use microscope and adjust focus

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
